Headshot styles, and what each one says

The style is a decision about what the photo communicates, not a filter. Each page below covers one style: what it signals, who it suits, and what to avoid.

Two portraits of the same person, in different styles, get different reactions. A black-and-white portrait reads as editorial and considered; a bright corporate headshot reads as accessible and conventional. Neither is better — but one of them is wrong for the profile it appears on.

Each page below takes one style, explains the signal it sends, and shows how to produce it from photos you already have.

FAQ

Preguntas frecuentes

Which headshot style should I choose?

Choose for the audience, not the aesthetic. A corporate or clinical audience expects a clean, conventional portrait; a creative or editorial audience responds better to a styled, less formal one. If you need one photo for everything, a plain background in business dress is the safest.

Can I generate more than one style?

Yes, and it is usually worth it: one conventional portrait for directories and CVs, and one with more character for social profiles and a personal site. Both can come from the same set of source photos.

Do styles cost extra?

In AI Headshot Pro: Zenith Studio you pay per set you generate, so a second style is a second generation. That is why it is worth deciding which styles you actually need before generating.
