Card tools, compared
There are several good card apps and one very common non-app. These pages set out what each does, and which one suits the job you actually have.
Card tools differ in three ways: whether they identify the card, whether they value it from real sales, and what they charge. Everything else is presentation.
Where a comparison names another product, the claim is limited to what can be verified from public information — what the tool is for and how it is sold. No invented ratings or reviews.

FAQ
Preguntas frecuentes
Which card app is the most accurate?
Accuracy is product-specific and worth testing yourself: scan the same five difficult cards in each app and compare. Foil parallels, vintage cards without numbers and graded slabs are the cases that separate them.
Do card apps value cards from real sales?
The good ones do, from recent completed sales, and they show the sales behind the number. If a value has no visible evidence, treat it as an estimate rather than a market price.
Is it worth switching card apps?
Only if the app you are using cannot identify the parallel, or cannot value a card from real sales. Those two failures are the ones that leave you doing the hard work by hand, which is what an app is for.
